IBSCY Ltd is growing rapidly and is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This individual will oversee daily operations, implement new systems, and provide Network Systems and Server/PC support for IBSCY Ltd clients.
Profile of Ideal Candidate:
- University degree in an IT-related field.
- Technical professional certifications are required (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong operational and project management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in English.
- Flexible approach, ability to perform under pressure.
- Effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate use of the company's computer facilities and adherence to the IT policy by users.
- Provides comprehensive support to all clients during business hours.
- Offers assistance to Junior IT Engineers as necessary.
- Maintains customer computer hardware following maintenance agreements and directives from Professional Services Director.
- Ensures IT products and services are updates or upgraded as required, upon approval from the Professional Services Director.
- Provides full support regarding software and hardware to customers.
- Identifies and reports causes of equipment malfunctions, involving both hardware and software, to the Professional Services Director.
- Develops and maintains procedures for operating and maintaining IT systems, including hardware, software, and printers within the company and for clients with maintenance agreements.
- Reviews new hardware requests from users and aligns their requirements with the capabilities of the IT system.
- Maintains an up-to-date inventory of current hardware equipment and evaluates existing equipment for efficiency and quality.
